5How we share information

Airport Taxi Seattle shares personal information only when it is needed to provide your ride, run our business, or meet a legal duty. We share it with the following:

  • Your driver: passenger name, phone number, pickup and drop-off details, flight details and trip notes, so the driver can find you and complete your trip
  • Corporate account holders: rides booked under a company account are visible to that account's authorized bookers and administrators
  • Service providers that work on our behalf and may use your information only to perform their services: our booking platform, a third-party payment processor that is PCI DSS compliant, text message and email delivery providers, Google Maps Platform for address suggestions and maps, flight status data providers, and website hosting and analytics providers
  • Legal reasons: when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect the safety of passengers, drivers or the public
  • Business changes: if our business is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner, who must handle it under this policy

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not share mobile phone numbers or text message opt-in data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

6Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the booking form working, remember your session, and measure how the site is used. These tools help us fix problems and improve the booking experience.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages visitors use and how they find us. It collects information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location, and it does not tell us who you are by name.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics. Some features, such as staying signed in or completing a booking, may not work without cookies.

7How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires:

  • Job applications: up to 12 months after the position is filled, unless you ask us to delete your application sooner
  • Contact form messages: up to 24 months, which is as long as needed to answer your request and keep a record of it
  • Website analytics data: up to 26 months, in aggregated or de-identified form where possible

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove anything that could identify you.

8Security

We protect personal information with reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. These include phone verification at booking, encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website, restricted access to customer records, and payment processing through a dedicated payment provider, so we do not store your full card number on our servers.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact us right away.

Our website and booking service are for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. When an adult books a ride for a family, we collect only the number of children and the car seat needs required to transport them safely. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
