Booking and payment

7 questions
How do I book a ride with Seattle Airport Taxi?

Use the instant quote on the website: enter pickup, drop-off, date, passengers and bags, choose a vehicle, add any extras, and pay. It takes about two minutes. You can also book by phone at (206) 788-8851, 24 hours a day.

Do I need an account to book?

No. You can proceed as a guest. An account saves your addresses and details for faster bookings and lets you view, edit or cancel rides and download receipts later. Your phone number is verified with a one-time code either way.

How far in advance should I book?

Book as soon as your travel plans are set, especially for early-morning flights, holidays and cruise days. For rides within the next 24 hours, call (206) 788-8851 so we can confirm a vehicle is available.

Can I book a ride for someone else?

Yes. Choose Book for someone else and enter the passenger's name, phone and email. The confirmation goes to both you and the passenger, which works well for family, guests and clients.

Can I book a round trip?

Yes. Choose Round Trip in the booking form and add your return date, time and flight details. Both legs are booked together, and each can be cancelled free up to 24 hours before its pickup.

How do I pay?

You pay online by card at checkout when you book. The full fare, any add-ons and your chosen gratuity are shown before you confirm. Promo codes can be entered at checkout.

Will I get a confirmation?

Yes. Confirmation and pickup updates are sent by text and email. These messages are used only for your reservation, never for promotions.

Prices and fees

8 questions
How much is a ride from SeaTac Airport to downtown Seattle?

A private Economy Sedan starts from $75, with taxes and tolls included. The exact price depends on distance and vehicle and is shown before you pay. A Standard Sedan starts from $85, a Mini Van from $125 and a Passenger Van from $200.

What is included in the price?

Your quoted price includes the private, non-stop ride, taxes, tolls, 30 minutes of free waiting at the airport and 15 minutes at other pickups. Complimentary bottled water and Wi-Fi are provided in the vehicle.

What costs extra?

Gratuity, meet and greet ($50), car seats ($20 to $25 each), pets ($30), extra stops, paid parking and waiting beyond the free period. Hourly bookings also charge for mileage beyond 25 miles per hour.

Is the price set before the ride?

Yes. You see your price before booking instead of a running meter. The final total only changes if you add waiting time beyond the free period, extra stops or paid parking during the ride.

Do you have surge pricing?

No surge multiplier applies to a confirmed booking. The price you book is the price for that ride, apart from the extras listed above.

Is gratuity included?

No. Gratuity is optional and chosen at checkout: none, 15%, 20% or 25%.

Why is my quote different from another trip?

Fares are based on distance and vehicle class. Cities close to the airport, such as Renton or Burien, cost less than longer trips such as Everett or Gig Harbor.

How does hourly pricing work?

Hourly bookings are priced per hour by vehicle and include 25 miles per hour. Extra mileage is charged. Minimum hours vary by vehicle, and the trip must end in the same metro area or a return fee applies.

SeaTac airport pickups

8 questions
Where will my driver meet me at SeaTac?

For curbside pickup, your driver texts you the meeting point after you land and collect your bags. With meet and greet ($50), your driver waits inside baggage claim holding a sign with your name or company name.

How long will my driver wait?

Airport pickups include 30 minutes of free waiting, counted from your flight's actual landing time. Pickups at other addresses include 15 minutes. Waiting beyond that may be charged.

What if my flight is delayed?

If you added your flight number, your driver tracks the flight and adjusts the pickup automatically. You do not need to call. If your flight is cancelled or you are rebooked on a different flight, call with the new details.

What if my flight lands early?

Flight tracking works both ways. Your driver follows the actual arrival time, so an early landing is accounted for as well.

I cannot find my driver. What do I do?

Check your texts for the meeting point first. If there is nothing, call (206) 788-8851 right away with your name and flight number.

What is meet and greet?

A $50 add-on where your driver waits inside the terminal at baggage claim with a name sign and helps with your luggage to the car. It is popular with first-time visitors, clients and families.

When should my pickup be for a departing flight?

Plan to reach SeaTac about 2 hours before a domestic flight and 3 hours before an international flight, then add the drive time from your address plus a traffic margin. Downtown Seattle is usually 25 to 45 minutes away.

Where will I be dropped off at SeaTac?

At the departures curb for your airline, so you can walk straight in to check in or security.

Vehicles and luggage

6 questions
What vehicles do you have?

Four classes: Economy Sedan (Tesla Model 3, Toyota Prius or similar), Standard Sedan (Tesla Model Y, Chrysler 300 or similar), Mini Van (Toyota Sienna, Mercedes Metris or similar) and Passenger Van for groups of 5 or more.

How much luggage fits?

Economy Sedan: 2 passengers and 2 checked bags. Standard Sedan: 3 and 3. Mini Van: 4 and 4. Passenger Van: groups of 5 or more with their luggage. Carry-ons fit in addition.

What happens if I bring too much luggage?

Luggage limits are enforced for safety. If your bags do not fit the booked vehicle, service can be refused. When unsure, book the next size up.

Can I bring skis, golf clubs or other large items?

Usually, in a Mini Van or Passenger Van. Mention the items in the booking notes so the right vehicle is assigned.

Can I request a specific car model?

Vehicles are booked by class, and the models listed are examples. A specific model is not guaranteed.

Are your vehicles shared with other passengers?

No. Every ride is private and non-stop for your party only.

Children, pets and accessibility

5 questions
Do you provide car seats?

Yes, as a paid add-on reserved at booking: infant seats (0 to 1 year) and toddler seats (1 to 4 years) are $25 each, and booster seats (4 to 8 years) are $20 each. On round trips the fee applies to each direction.

Are car seats required for children?

Washington law requires an appropriate child restraint for most children under 8. Add the right seat when booking so it is installed before pickup.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes. Pets ride for $30 and must be in a crate or carrier. Add the pet when booking.

Are service animals allowed?

Yes. Service animals ride free and do not need a carrier.

Do you have wheelchair-accessible vehicles?

Do you serve both Seattle cruise terminals?

Yes. We run private transfers to and from Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66 and Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91, from SeaTac Airport, hotels and homes.

Which pier is my ship at?

Your cruise line assigns the terminal, and assignments can change between seasons. Check your boarding documents and enter that pier when booking.

Which vehicle is best for a cruise?

Count suitcases, not just people. Most cruise travelers bring one large bag each, so a family of four usually needs the Mini Van from $125. Groups of 5 or more should book the Passenger Van from $200.

When should I book my pickup after the cruise?

Book for after your cruise line's scheduled disembarkation time, not the ship's arrival time. The drive to SeaTac is usually 25 to 45 minutes.
